I've been in the chronic pain game for a while, and I've always thought I coped well. But lately, it's excruciating to even roll over in bed, I'm using all my energy for the basics, and it's getting to me. I do everything I can. What do you do to help with your pain? I'm open to anything. My doctors do not prescribe me pain meds, but I take ibuprofen sometimes and I'm on Cymbalta to help I use cbd on occasion, but am sensitive to thc I move as much as I can I use ice packs, I stretch, eat a low-inflammatory diet, try to manage stress, etc. I'm desperate.

Are you sober? Sounds like youโ€™ve hit all of the right alternatives? Not sure but you could possibly being too active? Sounds as if you need some downtime? Plan to be kind to yourself mentally and emotionally? Give yourself a break and have a good rest!๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜ ๐Ÿ’• โค๏ธ

Physical therapy helped me the most when I was in tears from the everyday pain. Pool therapy is the best if you're really sore and stiff. Chiropractic care and massage on a regular basis has kept me from slipping too much. I also avoided pain pills since I was so young when all this started for me. It's a lot of trial and error to find out what your body needs to keep functioning. Don't give up. You'll find something that works just for you.

I'm in a similar situation. My chronic pain is getting increasingly worse and I've barely any tolerance left for anything else. One thing I've learned is to not be afraid or ashamed to ask for help on the bad days. It took me a long time to start asking for help, I was stubborn. But something as simple as someone helping you make your bed or something like that, it helps save some of your energy for coping and doing other things and makes you feel better mentally because the task is done. Hope this helps!
