Hello I’m Kaet. I’ve suffered with DDD for over 10 years. The pain drains me and exhausted. The medication‘s are not working like they used to. Stretching no longer relieves pain. What are you guys doing for believe other than mix and stretching?

Hello Micah. Thanks for your honest reply. Surgery is my last option. Once again thank you for replying. It helps to know someone can understand the pain caused DDD God bless you💖

Honestly, yoga has done wonders. I’m not your typical yoga girl either, as I’m overweight. So I only do what I can, but consistence has made a huge difference in the tightness of my muscles. I bought an inversion table for $100 on FB marketplace and that relieves stress and tension on my discs, helping to prevent nerve pain. I sleep only on my back. This took a while to get in the habit of, but I’m waking up with less pain. I also bought a low-profile pillow from Bed Bath & Beyond. It’s not as tall of a pillow and my neck pain has become more minimal. I take gabapentin (neurontin) for nerve pain, if I have overdone it in the yard. I’m 43. I take diazepam for muscle spasms. I take ibuprofen for the little arthritis I do have. Really hot baths before bed to relax my body for sleep. I’ve had 1 back surgery in 2014, as I had a nerve root impingement. It was a L5-S1 fusion. Hope this helps. God bless you! 🙏
