Im 43 and i got told my supervisors boss that im lazy, i lie and i make excuses. But i know that i forget things from my nephews n nieces birthdays but i can remember my own sons birthday. Its to the point that im always having to remember what i need to do or what i done for the day

You aren't. It's exhausting trying to explain why living with adhd is exhausting. I'm trying to find work arounds to help me function in day to day life. I have the benefit of a spouse who also has adhd so he understands but also our bills don't always get paid on time. So, ya know pros and cons.

Unfortunately this is an extremely common experience from late-diagnosed neurodivergent folk within their homes. Fortunately, once you live on your own, this commentary basically stops entirely.
