I raised 2 kiddos with ADHD and their father has it. I am the complete opposite of them. Not a morning person and don't have the energy. 😁 I have CFS. My son just graduated from high school this last week my daughter is a wonderful mom and graduated. Son is going 2 college. It was difficult in different ways raising them. But not any different or harder than raising my last child without it. They have had teachers and tons of ppl 2 help them along the way . Most ppl don't recognize it off hand. I have never heard them upset cuz they have ADHD and someone bullied them or made fun. My daughter stopped meds the summer b4 middle school my son is still on them. Everyone is different, patience is a virtue not everyone has it. If someone is gonna judge u or get impatient that's their issue. There's an equal amount of ppl out there that won't and understand. I tend 2 run into more ppl with ADHD than most I recognize it quickly cuz I been around it for decades. I am comfortable around it and actually get jelly cuz I want that energy😁 just remember ur no different than Karen down the street, everyone has something. Everyone is unique. God does not make mistakes.

My wonderful partner taught me a lot about how adhd works, I swear it's half the battle with family(found or relatives). Often people just don't understand how our brains work. The more science/psychology explanations you can give people who are close to you, the more they can adjust to. Sometimes people just need to know why.

I honestly have a lot of friends and family with ADHD, so a lot of them do pretty well get what it’s like and we work together

Yes, but as someone who is understanding what having ADHD means for themselves. It is a learning process for everyone. I want to find ways to enhance the beauty of having ADHD and ways to help me cope through the toughness of it.
