i was diagnosed during my junior or senior year of high school, which is right in the middle of college planning. i was told to just “live my life and do anything a normal kid would do.” at the time i had no symptoms, so it was easier to ignore. a year later, life has been pretty good, im in college now and doing alright. but i’ve had a serious decline in my short term memory, as well as some speech issues. emotionally im at an all time low as a result. i realized today that i never really had the chance to really grieve what i lost due to ms. i’m sure it’ll be something i’m never really over. i was curious how other people cope with the grief that comes with having ms?
