What’s the difference between finding a woman conventionally pretty and actually attractive? Do ppl that admire women for their conventional prettiness not look at their bodies but instead outfits/features? What’s the difference

Aesthetic attraction is a fairly common experience that isn't often named, and gender envy is usually associated with trans people but anyone can experience it. Both could be a part of what your feeling but it sounds more like the former.

Oh! Thats a very different question than your original post :0 I mean, that's more of something you gotta figure out? We couldn't tell you how you feel about women. Doing some deep thinking on it might help you figure it out?

I can usually tell by my increased heart rate, sweaty palms, having to tear my eyes away from the parts of them that really attract me (usually waistline, shoulders, butt, lips, eyes for me) and almost this competitive need to puff out my chest and impress lol Sometimes when I'm just mildly attracted to a woman I do question myself, and it used to be much harder before my libido kicked in at 19 years old. In those cases I imagine them kissing me and see how my body reacts. Seeing a conventionally pretty woman usually leaves me in awe and even a bit jealous, but it's mostly mental not physical.

Honestly, I have no idea. Whenever I find a woman or femme person attractive, I keep second guessing myself. Like. Do I think they're attractive, or do I just think they're pretty? And it's confusing. Any kind of attraction to femme ppl is too confusing for me so I just ignore it tbh

@malachai I completely relate to this lmao

i see "conventionally pretty" like saying "meets society's beauty standards"— so that means skinny waist, curvy figure, flawless skin, usually white, and "doesn't need makeup." Whereas on the other hand, i see actual attractiveness as a spectrum with no one set answer because everyone's got a different opinion and prefrence as to what is "attractive."

@faustmare yeah what I was asking in that post really is how do I tell if I look at a women because she’s conventionally pretty or because I’m attracted to her
