How to Stop Comparing Yourself to Others?

how do i stop my bad habit of comparing myself to others? today me and my friend were trying on clothes and my mind was only focusing on the fact that she is skinnier than me and prettier than me and i felt so low. my confidence used to be higher, but it’s at an all time low right now. i want to be at the mindset i used to be at, where peoples body and appearance were never really of importance to me. now it’s all i think about, and at the forefront of my mind 24/7.

I have the same problem. I have severe body issues - not sure about body dismorphia but that's a different story. I walk down the street or in public places and find myself staring at other peoples stomachs while having to suck mine in. all of my friends tell me I'm skinny but I just don't see it - yet there are some days I don't feel "fat" at all. it's been like this for a few months. I don't know what it could be, whether it may just be anxiety or more. I'm sure you are absolutely perfect

Sometimes I have to remind myself that some people struggle to gain weight just like people like me struggle to lose it. Everyone's body is made different bc we all have different genetics, and EVERYONE has insecurities. While you're wishing you looked like someone else, someone else out there is wishing they looked like you ❤️
