Anyone tried dietary changes to help with POTS symptoms? My doctor suggested low histamine diet, high protein, low carb. Its really hard to do this while also fatigued. Suggestions?

So even though i recently have high blood pressure and kidney issues now. My doc approved me increasing my sodium. He said ok as long as i dont do salt pills. With that, i increase mainly in the morning. Seems to help the most. And not doing it the rest of the day, the kidneys and rest of the body get a rest from the moderate overload. Low histamine isnt that hard to do and may be the easiest to start with. Id recommend trying one thing at a time for a couple weeks. If it helps, great. If it doesnt help. Then skip that suggestion. There is no clear path with POTS.

I’ve found keeping it simple helps. I just fix meat and veggies most of the time. I do find low carb helps. I’ve also found Concentrace mineral drops and Jigsaw Health’s adrenal cocktail powder (both found on Amazon) to be game changers. Other than that, avoiding processed foods in general (especially gluten), getting enough sleep, and keeping my stress low (easier said than done, I know) helps the most. I have to remember to take it easy when my body needs it, or otherwise, I pay for it for days to weeks with horrible fatigue, increased POTS symptoms, edema in my hands, ankles, and feet, and poor circulation causing me to feel cold most of the time.
