Getting diagnosed with POTS: HR shoots up but BP only drops a little

I’m in the process of getting diagnosed with POTS. The last doctor I saw sent me to another because when they tested me my HR shoots up but my blood pressure only drops a little. Was this the case for anyone else and did it turn out to be POTS or something else?

I’ve been going through the same thing for almost a year now, my symptoms were brought on post covid and the doctors I was seeing were having trouble concluding what conditions were causing my issues. My cardiologist gave me a not so formal diagnosis of pots because my blood pressure doesn’t change much with postural changes (although it is generally low at baseline) but I am still in the process of being formally diagnosed. Good luck to you!

My blood pressure goes up a little but is mostly stable, it's my heart rate and symptoms that go up.

My blood pressure is usually pretty stable. It's my heart rate that sky rockets and other symptoms like blood pooling, dizziness, fainting that are also symptoms of pots
