Hi there. Has anyone on this list had an issue getting consistent PSTD therapy? My issue is that I make appointments to the doctor and therapist, but I end up doing one of three things. I forget the appointment entirely, forget to talk about the sexual abuse ptsd entirely, or can't remember any details when I do bring it up. A diagnosis and some real help would be fantastic. I've been told I have the textbook symptoms of ptsd, but the doctors and therapist always say they need more data for the full diagnosis and treatment. That doesn't work well when I can't seem to give them the data šŸ™ƒ. What do I do?

This is a tough one. I also struggle to get a ptsd diagnosis, and Iā€™m with you on not being able to give details because I was drugged and unconscious when it happened, I donā€™t have the slightest memory of it happening, only the events leading up to me passing out. I honestly donā€™t know of this is helpful, but maybe if possible look online for any psychological evaluations for getting a ptsd diagnosis, and who conducts those types of evaluations, and if you can find a means of having it done. I unfortunately have really bad healthcare so thatā€™s pretty much impossible for me, but even if you donā€™t think you could, donā€™t let that prevent you from at least looking into it and being absolutely sure if itā€™s possible for you.
