Has anyone who was diagnosed with PCOS ever had a differential diagnosis. I do lots of research and I have a feeling that PCOS isn’t the whole picture or maybe not even right at all. I’ve never had an ultrasound. Just curious about other experiences.
I feel the same way. I have had an ultrasound and blood tests. Both were ~just about~ indications of PCOS. I’m not entirely convinced that this is all that’s going on, if at all. I don’t have many of the main symptoms (acne, excess hair growth etc) but I do have some, such as irregular periods and fatigue. I have every symptom of an underactive thyroid which runs along both sides of my family, but my blood tests for this are not indicative for the most part. It’s very confusing
