It’s hard to find people whos suicide attempt caused a life long time brain damage. I just want someone else who has had the same experience to reach out to me because it’s lonely not knowing anyone to talk to and know EXACTLY how I feel.

      One thing I have learned after living 17 years with a brain injury: is that it is often our differences that bring us together. I have a brain injury from a stroke I had when I was 18 from my birth control pills. I have never met anyone who exactly like me, but I haven’t definitely related to many other survivors. I too know what it’s like to have a brain injury from something you did to yourself. 💕
