Does depression make every task physically harder as well as mentally? I understand the fookin mental struggle of just putting new sheets on the bed, but does anyone with the sad boi disease get physically exhausted? Sometimes I can't even give the strength to pull the cover over a corner... is this normal?

Yes, at least for me it is normal. I recently found a job that I actually enjoy but just thinking about going in makes me feel like I can’t handle it.

First reaction? Yes 100%. But for me it's hard (sometimes impossible) to figure out what is a symptom of what. Like it's difficult for me to be like, oh yeah this is specifically my depression. Vs. Is my anxiety, adhd, dyspraxia, sleep issues, etc also contributing to this? They're all intertwined to create the symptoms we experience

I definitely struggle with this. Sometimes even drinking water is mentally draining. I'm so tired all the time.

Oh yeah. I get physically exhausted from doing otherwise small tasks when I’m depressed. I just don’t have the drive or the motivation to pull through and it’s both physical and mental for me. Also, all I want to do is sleep when I have my episodes of depression, that’s because of both mental and physical being tired.

I too have sad boi disease and I get the struggle I wish I can push myself to do more but sometimes I can’t but what you gotta do is get some rest and relax no matter how long it takes even if you can’t find a way to take that break from the world

Take your time off and relax as much as you can I think that’s the best thing you can do when you feel exhausted
