I’m waiting for my assessment I’ve done the written assessment that you send in. I’m 34 and like you I’m worried I won’t be on the spectrum since I don’t have all the symptoms when you look them up

when I was a child, my parents asked specialists if they thought I was autistic and they said no. fast forward to age 19, I finally got diagnosed by my psychiatrist who i had for years, and everything finally made sense. so in my experience, when you're afab, they won't just give you the diagnosis, you have to seek it out yourself.

I got diagnosed in September and it took forever fighting with my GP to help me get it. I realized at the time I was still masking (my mom was with me) but I apparently had everything a bit too organized. I had a fear I wouldn't be believed too because I did so much research and organized it so much
