Anyone else's bipolar moods change every couple days? I've literally questioned whether or not I'm bipolar because of this.

The way I describe to people how the mood changes with with bipolar is that we don't go through mood swings but more mood phases. Our moods don't usually change rapidly but the highs and lows contrast at large for longer periods such as a few days or weeks or even months.

I hate when I'm having a great day I'm happy & cheerful then all of a sudden a dark cloud lingers over me & my mood changes instantly & all of a sudden I'm sad for no reason

@Manchetta I am so with you on this. The downward dips can be debilitating.

It goes with the territory. Bipolar is a complex condition with rapid changing moods.

Sometimes I feel like I have more depression than bipolar

Moods don't have to change drastically for you to be bipolar. And my moods can change every couple days to daily to hourly. It all depends on how bad my body is dealing with it that day. My suggestion is if you are not liking how your moods are changing talk with your therapist about it and see if they have any new suggestions for you to try.
