I started with planters fasciitis and the my ankle began to swell. That all went away and now i feel like when i first get up in the mornings it feels like my tendons on bottom of foot are going to pop when i take that first step. Almost like a pain / burn then it eases up. It’s so weird.

Sounds like neuropathy I have had that for a long time until I went to the doctor and they had prescribed gabapentin
I had similar,it was so bad (still is some days) that I couldn't even wear socks or shoes without pain. I saw a podiatrist about it and they figured it out (nerves in foot are too close together) maybe a podiatrist can help you too?

I found out I have plantar fasciitis and bone spur in my foot . I went to foot doctor and he suggested inexpensive food insoles you get on amazon and you can use heat gun to form them closer to you foot for addition arch support. It supposed help relieve foot issues and helps those conditions I have. He told me I basically need wear them forever to eliminate the pain and also do I don’t get more bone spurs. He said the pain happen with the lack of support and can cause pain in angles back and other areas. Let me know you like the name of insoles . Hope this helps.
I have had neuropathy for over 15 years. When it first started it felt like I was walking on rocks and when I would try to sleep my feet would just burn and feel like a thousand pins were sticking into my feet. I went to every Dr and specialist I could find. It took several but finally I found a neurologist that tested my small nerves and my large nerves and she said that’s what it was. I now see a pain specialist and he helps me with my medication and it has helped with the daily pain I feel. It also causes your feet to go numb. So after a while you have numbness along with pain and pin pricks. Some nights it gets really bad. Just depends what all I did that day. I hope you find out what it is a whole lot sooner than I did. I do know with plantar fasciitis you have pain in the am really bad. With neuropathy your pain usually gets worse as the day progresses into the night is your worst pain.
@Pensewell yes exactly, by the time I go to bed I can't sleep because they hurt so bad. I can't stand on them that long before it starts.
Omg yes in the arch of my foot and in my toes. Horrible
Depending on where your pain is located you could have plantar fasciitis or even gout. I have the first and my hubby has the second. I bought special compression socks that help me do much. But I still experience terrible pain especially for a day or so after working on my feet.
I’m getting this in my right ankle and foot with slight traveling up my leg.
Yesss my pain is right in the arch of the foot, it's been driving me crazy can't stand long along with my hips hurting like it
Ugh! Have had that for over a decade...It's no good😥.
@NanN no it's not. I think it's something genetic because my daughter's feet are starting to do the same.
I am beginning to experience this as well 😥
