I have been doing prolonged exposure therapy since I have PTSD from being a civilian in a war zone. Lately, I have been having physical pain in my ear, the same kind I had when the trauma occurred. The pain is really bad and even after I am done with the session, the pain is still there. It hurts when I hear noise. I got my ears checked by ear doctor and my ears are healthy physically. I think it’s psychological but I don’t know how to handle it. Any suggestions or anything you guys have to say would be much appreciated, I am in severe discomfort 😞

if it’s a psychological discomfort you could probably trick yourself into focusing on another thing, so like when your ear hurts think of a different body part and how it feels or play calming music and focus on the rhythm. lmk if it works
