I Was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 it was right about the time Covid started so I wasn’t able to see DRS and by the time I went it had spread to my lymph nodes I was going to the CANCER TREATMENT CENTER in Zion I had chemo from November to April then I was just on Herceptin on August 3 the pharmacist said not to give me the dose because my ejection fraction had dropped too quickly in three weeks for some reason the Dr overwrote. His decision and gave me the Herceptin I had a heart attack the next day after that I could no longer have treatment because my heart was too weak my blood sugar was really low and they had my Onocologist removed she no longer works there they told me that they would see me but they never did by December my cancer had spread back into my lymph nodes I started treatment somewhere else it is not shrinking it it is growing more every three weeks tomorrow I go for a PET scan to see where it spread to then we’re going to do a biopsy to see if the cancer has flipped from her to positive to her to negative I was wondering if anybody else had a similar situation

Sorry to hear of your bad doctor and circumstances. Unfortunately, there are unqualified people out there as well as treatment mistakes. I hope the new doc gets things right. My 1sr breast cancer had plenty of errors. It was 20 years ago, so im still here to have my 2nd breast cancer diagnosed at beginning of 2020 (i just beat the pandemic). Anyway, this time, they caught it so early, it wasnt even a solid tumor yet. They did give me a hard time when i wanted tovturn the single mastectomy into a double. So goofy. They wanted to wait for genetic testing to prove i was high risk. Logic!!!! 2x means i already experienced a 200% result. How is that not high risk!! Anyway, my surgeon (same one i had 20 years ago, love him, the best, personally, knowledge, and talent) fought the insurance company and i had my double in 2 weeks. My recommendation is to do your homework and be your own advocate. Fight for what you need. Turned out that my other breast had the start of a separate breast cancer. The more you research, you'll find that the breast cancer has been with you for quite a while. My first was probably there 10 years before i found it (speculatuon from readings and thats when my autoimmune diseases started). Fact is first needle biopsy was false negative, 6 months later the tumor size doubled, 6 months later it again doubled. Finally that radiologist referred me to a surgeon and out it came and lumpectomy, chemo and radiation ensued.
