How long did it take to get rid of the PTSD after chronically suffering from anal fissures, anal abscess and anal surgery.

If I had taken the correct steps to work through it with therapy (physical/mental/emotional), I would have gotten through it more easily and quicker. It's been 8 years since my last surgery and it's still a struggle.

absolutely. I am a huge advocate for therapy. There a lot of different types other than just talk therapy. You should definitely do some research and try out different types. I like psychologytoday.com it’s how I found my last therapist and I saw him for 3 years before I had to stop because of i changed insurance.

I found a really good one on that page but the therapist got sick and now I have to search for another one. We really connected 😩

My doctor told me I could use a special lotion he prescribed to help heal the anal fissure, but because of childhood trauma, I just mentally couldn’t do it.

I’m healed from the fissures now I believe I feel electrical shocks due to I believe a pinched nerve ?
