i don’t understand what’s going on with me. i’m usually a very happy and upbeat person with a few sad waves here and there. lately it’s never ending. i cry myself to sleep and feel the exact same the next morning. it’s a cycle that i’m not used to and i have no idea what’s triggering it. i just want it to stop and i want to feel happy again. i’ve had this feeling that i’m not allowed to feel happy and i should be worrying about something 24/7 and it sucks. if anyone kinda relates to this i’d like to know what makes you feel better or what distracts you from it?

I felt like this a while back. Just know this feeling won’t last forever and you WILL be happy again! For now I’d suggest find something that excites you and scares you a little bit. Or get something you have to take care of. What helped me is meeting some new people (I’m terrified of that) and getting a dog. You can do this! 🤍

That is a really hard experience. I have had to try a lot of different coping skills but in general, find an activity that doesn't take a lot of effort to start and feels productive. Right now I'm painting minifigures. Then I run a show in the background so I have the extra stimulation and I'm not stuck in my thoughts. Maybe you can find something like that? Have to recommend therapy and look into medication. If you can't produce your own dopamine, store bought is fine. 🥰

I sometimes feel quite the same, like I won’t feel joy ever again. Like a dementor gave me a kiss… When this feeling fades out I’m feeling much better though
