I write a list. Prioritize. Try my best. Getting out of your comfort zone is important but exceeding your overwhelmed zone will just send you back steps, I think. So if things start heading south, I get less and go home. Try again later. It helps to teach myself this is what I control. I can go, but I can leave any time.

When I go shopping I tend to bring a family member with me. If I get anxious I cling onto them and I know that if something bad happens they’re there with me.

I do my grocery shopping at WinCo, which is a 24 hour store, so I try to go during late hours where there's less people. I went around 11pm and it was pretty much just me and the staff there. I also take a stuffed animal with me to drive bc driving always gives me bad anxiety!
