Feeling Left Out When Friends Have Other Friends

Yes, all the time. What helps me get through it is knowing that they are still my friends and maybe I'll make new friends with their friends😬

I find that unless I see a pattern of exclusion I have to keep it to myself. Journaling and rationalizing your thoughts through a calmer lens really helps me. You can be jealous without expressing it. But if they are leaving you out then take time when you are calm to let them know what you've noticed and that you're feeling abandoned and left out, what is making you feel that way. Explain that you know it probably isn't intentional and that with your bpd intentional or not, it still bothers you.

It's such a relief to know that I'm not alone with that feeling. All my friends can't understand me when I tell them something about what I'm experiencing. Even worse, they are mad at me and have lost touch with me :(

It really is. I hate that I feel like I don't relate to like the anger that comes out of nowhere sometimes and the irrational fears and stuff

Yes! My boyfriend has friends that I don’t know myself and I get jealous. Or if I have friends and see their posts about being with their friends, I get jealous
