How do you deal with patience? It's a challenge with my anxiety. I'm in the waiting room of the doctors. I keep thinking, I just want to get it over with it.

I'm also waiting to see my doctor right now. I'm distracting myself with this app and listening to music. I was supposed to be seen 30 minutes ago. Still waiting. Patience is difficult for me too. So I try to distract myself with things I enjoy. Did you bring headphones with you? Maybe you can watch cat videos or something.

One thing I love about even now in “pretty much post Covid” (still madly have wear masks), is waiting in car until doctor is ready. They have a triage station at my doctors’ office to take vitals and explain to nurse reason for visit, then go back outside and they text you

It's really hard in the moment! I tried the 5 feelings grounding, but it doorknob work for me. Before I found a daily med combo that works, I relief on xanax. I only took it when I knew I was going into an anxiety inducing situation. I once got to a point where I thought the only way I could get relief from it was to die, I went inpatient and that helped a lot.
