I'm feeling stuck. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever felt just blah about treatment. I'm just not feeling like doing group therapy or one on one therapy lately. I don't feel like I have anything to say to my therapists and that I'm just wasting their time. My appts with them come up & I get so anxious and I end up canceling on them last minute. I don't know how to push through these feelings. I lost my last therapist due to this and I don't want that to happen again, but I can't seem to get with the program. I'm just wondering if anyone has felt like this and how they got through it. Thank you

I see you. I've been there and I've found, for me, the best thing is to push through and talk to my therapist one-on-one and tell them how I feel. They have helped me through it and haven't told my that I have to go to group but that it does help me to talk about it. I'm here if you need to talk.

Yes, some people have experienced similar feelings about therapy. One suggestion is to take things moment by moment and focus on accomplishing small goals. You can also ask your therapist to lead the conversation or discuss your goals and progress in therapy. Remember that it's okay to feel stuck sometimes, and communicating these feelings with your therapist can help you find ways to move forward.
