I'm really depressed and could use tips on dealing with it please. I currently don't have a therapist but even if I did, it's Sunday so it wouldn't be open.

Depends on whether it's situational or chronic and what methods normally work for you. But generally, you could try petting animals, playing video games, watching movies, reading books, talking with and seeing family or a friend, eating chocolate (dark is better) or cheese, punching pillows, they're all distraction based methods. I wouldn't recommend facing the cause of your stress at this time, I'd wait for therapy for that so you have a good support network x

@Nibblz I don't know how long it will be until I have a therapist though. It's hard not to face it when it is because I have been trying and trying and trying to be able to get a real job. I have seizures so fast food (for year round and better pay) isn't an option.

@Rene1027 I'm sorry you're struggling. Other than teh distraction techniques, all I cam recommend is narrowing down a field that would be safer to work in such as call centres, offices, care homes..then apply for those. Unfortunately getting a job with health allowances can be difficult but I hope you manage to find something
