What are y’all’s thoughts of cannabis to help sooth GP symptoms? I feel like it helps me the most versus all the drugs with nasty side effects. But several of my doctors say it’s doing more harm then good. I actually eat and keep things down and my standard of living is more productive. What are y’all’s opinions of medicinal cannabis, or what has your doctor told you about it?

I use cannabis and it makes me feel better and helps me eat. I actually gained weight and then started losing it very slowly even though most days this year I have not eaten a real whole meal. It depends where you are with your sickness. I stopped for months no difference just felt worser.

So my Dr. told me cannabis slows down your gut and makes digestion slow. Which we already have issues with... After using cannabis for about 2 years I noticed severe neausea and severe vomiting that would send me into Diabetic Ketoacidosis... that's when I had a Dr. tell me that sometimes using cannabis long term causes something called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome... I still use cannabis for gastro relief but have cut down a lot
