My primary physcian has ordered more imagery and consults. Her opinion is that with half my stomach up in the thoracic cavity I need fundiplication surgery and, likely, mesh to close the hernia. Has anyone had this surgery? I also have Barrett's esophagus and shortness of breath because so much stomach is restricting the lung.
