Hiatal Hernia Surgery - Looking for Advice

My PCP is referring me to a surgeon to repair my hiatal hernia. Anyone else have this done?

Do you know what type of surgery? I had a Nissen Funduplication in June of last year to repair my hiatal hernia and to relieve heartburn symptoms.
