I'm discovering after an entire life with hypermobility, ear problems, joint problems, and just about anything else, heds would make a lot of sense for me. I'm not getting an appointment for it until the 25th, and I'm nervous that it might not fit, and that I'll start on a completely different goose chase. so here is my question for those of you with heds, because I'm not sure if these are lesser known, or unrelated. I know that no two people will ever have the same symptoms, but I'm not sure if I'm just overthinking most of these. please lmk what you do and don't resonate with - prevalence of autism and adhd - multiple sets of ear tubes, hypermobile ear drums, abnormally narrow ear canals, abnormally small eustachian tube - diagnosis of other inflammation or trauma syndromes (carpal tunnel for me) - family history of carpal tunnel, heart problems, mental illness - strain after repetative motion - not "standing right", "sitting right", "writing normally" - looking out of place in yoga, dance, or exercise because your range of motion is different from those around you - inability to do things that typically mobile people do, touch toes, proper yoga poses, correct stance - the normal range of motion seems really weird and maybe uncomfortable - you shift your weight dominantly to one side until it hurts, or you think you might not walk with proper gate or "crooked"
