You may want to look into fodmap diet. When my IBS symptoms got really bad I did the Fod Map diet and it helped.

I can't take ibuprofen because I have a liver disease. I drink lots of water everyday. What food do you suggest avoiding. So far I avoid greasy food and cheese and milk.

Depends on if it's constipation or diarrhea. Diet/food intake/ restriction of irritating foods helps. Drinking enough water helps. Good Belly probiotic drink has been helping me. I take ibuprofen for pain when I'm having a bad flare up.
