For someone who hates being angry, I've been angry a lot lately. I don't know how to make that feeling go away. It feels like everyone and everything has been setting me off and I just go silent to avoid saying stuff I don't mean.

also, deep breaths and removing yourself from the situation for a minute helps more than you'd think. if you can tell you're getting snippy or short with people, just walk out of the room or put earbuds in for a second until you can calm down.

have you had any recent changes to anything?

@not_b00bs I'm in the process of trying to move
@bugger that could be it
Have you had any new medications recently? I had 2 medications that anger was a side effect for me. I actually became a rageaholic on one of them. It was horrible. I either felt like everyone was out to get me and I had to defend myself or I simply had a very short fuse and everything set me off.
@dolphinblues I'm not currently on any medication, but I haven't been smoking cannabis for the past few weeks because I was afraid that I'd rely on it too much. I originally started because it made it easier for me to fall asleep, but I started using it to help me relax more during the day so I wouldn't be so paranoid about my life. But I keep thinking of trying again in smaller increments since my insomnia is getting pretty bad again. I'm just scared that I will abuse it instead of using it properly.
@bugger my son uses it to help with his anger and sleep issues. There are many types that help with different things. He tells me that if he uses the right one, for the right reason it is easier to to manage how much he uses. I myself don't use it, so I have no personal experience to give you. I do understand why you would be worried about becoming dependent on it though. It's a personal decision and everyone has different experiences with it. I hope that sharing what my son told me helps you in some way.
I went through something really similar when I burst my eardrum, I was overstimulated constantly by the pain and the hearing loss and the ringing, etc. so any and everything was too much and immediately irritated me. do you think maybe you're overworked or stressed about anything in particular? if it helps, I promise that the feeling won't last forever. I hope that what you're going through will be overwith soon 💜
@darrel I'm in the process of trying to find a new house and my grandma keeps planning trips for us to go on together, so maybe something with that? I love spending time with her but us living together has been a lot on me since we live very different lives.
