How do I tell my friends I have epilepsy? I’m afraid to tell them because if I were to have a seizure in front of them they won’t take it seriously or they won’t want to hang out with me anymore because I’m a responsibility

you should tell them. if they're your friends, they'll want to know how they can help you if you have a seizure around them. I know it's an awkward convo to have, but it helps to know there's always someone to watch your back

My friends accept me and are always there with no judgment just support. If they’re real friends they will support you.
I totally get the fear that comes with telling people about your epilepsy. I’m sure people have said this before, but honestly if your friends are going to ditch you for something you can’t control they weren’t the type of people you want to be around. Your real friends will listen and take your illness seriously.

@Gothmoth You’re right. If I tell them and they start doing that then they probably were never my friends in the first place 😕
