Has anyone found anything that helps fatigue? I wake up more tired than I was when I went to bed. I need to take 3+ naps a day to even somewhat function. I can’t keep living like this. My schedule will not always allow me to take that much time a day to rest. I need help fast

I 100% relate to everything you said. For me, Adderall helped a lot with both my ADD and fatigue. Some people just drink a lot of caffeine, but that worsens my anxiety. There are other stimulant medications you can ask your doctor about, like Provigil that might help you. I sleep about 10 hours a night and take a half hour nap during the day. Exercise helps improve my quality of sleep, so definitely try that. You can also gradually decrease your sleep time each day to see what your body can realistically handle. For me, the 10 hours and half hour nap is my limit. Less than that, and I really can’t function.

I know this sounds harsh, but change your schedule. Unless you are the sole provider for many people, I’m gonna have to encourage you to start changing your schedule to accommodate yourself more. Flares cannot be rushed though. They cannot be powered through. They can only be cheated through and that always leaves an energy deficit. I personally have chosen to rely on the state for survival. But it’s because I pushed my body to the point of no return. I was 25 with my own business, and I couldn’t keep up with my workload even though I made my own schedule. My old pace, pre-diagnosis, was no longer sustainable. only you can decide what’s right for your body. But consider listening when you’re at your worst, your body is trying to tell you to rest.

My fatigue truly does get better when I make myself follow a routine, also for me I notice when I forget my multivitamin for a few days my energy starts to drain faster. Its really hard to stop cycling with fatigue when all your body is telling you to do is nap; but the adage is true for me that a body in motion stays in motion - that's the long term solution with minimal burnout. The short term solution when I was going through a fibro flare was eating a lot of fruit and drinking matcha and making myself exercise right before I needed to do something. This may not work for you though if your mobility is limited or if you have to avoid certain foods. I hope you find your spoons refilled soon.
