My social anxiety has been really bad lately. I was supposed to challenge myself and go out tonight, but I chickened out. I’ll try again next Saturday, but does anyone have any advice to help me push through the uncomfortable/overwhelming feelings?

I have in the recent past given myself a pep talk and then go for a walk to give myself a breather.
I try to live in the moment and not let my thoughts get the best of me. Try to find a activity you have been wanting to do for awhile.
I do better when its not planned. My boyfriend is super social and outgoing my total opposite but understands. I also have a group i go to the movies with social but minimal conversation to worry about lol.
