Hi all! My psychiatrist thinks I have autism. I'm looking into getting an eval for it, but does anyone have any advice for someone who is just learning this about themselves?

definitely try to go into any researching with an open mind. i didn’t realize how many negative preconceptions had been drilled into my head until i started researching autism on my own and realizing how much more there was to it than stereotypes we often see or are taught to us.
