So I’m a college student who was recently diagnosed with a pilonidal cyst. I had it drained a month ago and all was well, but now the doctor says it’s coming back. They said I should see a surgeon to have it completely removed. Has anyone ever gotten theirs surgically removed? I’ve never had a “real” surgery (just like wisdom teeth removal) and the thought terrifies me.
