I am really excited because The Mighty published this Article I wrote about the complexities of working full time with chronic illness. The Mighty is for and by people with physical and mental illness and disability. I’m sure many people on here would have stories that could help others: https://themighty.com/2022/05/working-full-time-with-chronic-illness-and-making-choices/ https://themighty.com/2022/05/working-full-time-with-chronic-illness-and-making-choices/

@SMX I think every person wants to feel like they can help other people in some way, we all seek that kind of meaning in our lives, its just a shame that only some kinds of jobs are defined as ones of "more value". I just hope we dont devalue the people behind the jobs.

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ to ALL this. Well written article. Articulates the challenges people with chronic illness have to face... I hope to find work thats fulfilling and within my means as well after facing some realities around my chronic illness. I hope some day we can live in a better world for people with chronic illness. Maybe articles like this can be part of starting those conversations
@Kermit143 I hope so. Not everyone is in a position to try and work, and working isn’t set up well for those who want to but suffer from disabilities and chronic conditions. We need more flexibility and customization in jobs, which would honestly help companies and organizations too- I think
