Hello, witch here. I was never really in the broom closet but I kinda go in and out of it due to certain situations. I've found that tiktok has helped a lot with most people either stuck in the broom closet or are waiting for the right time to get out.

I am, it doesn't effect my life or relationships. The only person I could see having a problem with it is my dad, which is why he doesn't hear much about it. I only have friends online, and they've all been open-minded about it.

I'm a witch in an extremely Christain household and it's kinda hard but I've got an extremely nice deity that I work with that's understanding.

My husband and I are both polytheistic pagan (and witches). My mom is also the same so it's pretty easy for me in that aspect.

I fortunately don’t live with my parents, I love with my partner who shares the same beliefs and practices I do!

ohhh boy i get this one, so i grew up in a baptist home and my mom was raised by a black witch. it’s affected our upbringing durastically. when i started getting into spiritually as a later on teenager my mom was freaking out. she believed i was condoning so many things but all i was doing was seeing the connection in stuff. it’s deff affected my way of seeing the world since i saw her bless tv’s, phones, doorways and windows with oil to represent the cross-over in the bible. blessing the oil as she did her ritual. i was taught this stuff from like 5 years old. i see life very spiritually and im happy i do. it gives me a good lens for boundaries and for how things are sometimes. im no expert so i can’t read everything. yet the upbringing has given me also a limited form of making friendships. luckily the witch stuff is trending now a days so it makes things easier 😂

I never say anything about it, there are tons of helpful stuff on tiktok and tumblr about how to incorporate your practice into your life as a closeted witch. Anything I research I excuse as ideas for my story writing 😅

@SacredSocks my mom found out when I was younger. She was pissed and forbidden it in our house but I'm always trie to myself so everyone knew that I was a witch anyways, even if I couldn't do much. Just made a witch server if you'd like to join, it's brand new

I’m from a Catholic family from rural Uruguay. Our spiritual practices looked very weird to American Catholics, which led us to not be quite as active in our church community here. Shrines to saints, giving them offerings and asking for things, as well as ancestor veneration. These things are common among Catholics in many parts of the world and could arguably be considered witchcraft but seem alien to American Christianity. I have the same spiritual practices as my family so it hasn’t led to a conflict in my family.
