I need a little advice or comfort on what to do and how to feel here. Last week I noticed some blood in my discharge, which would be normal if I were expecting a period. However, I am also on birth control and I was not due to have a period for the next 2 weeks (I'm still not due until the end of this week). It went away after a couple of days, but then 2-3 days ago I had what my family describes as an ovarian cyst rupturing. After which I had a more blood which then stopped and then restarted again yesterday but only for that day. I didn't go to the hospital because they said I would be fine (even my aunt said I'd be fine and she's a registered CNA) and I mean I am fine now, but my doctor told me that if I did have pain I should've gone to the hospital. I do have an appointment with her tomorrow as the gyno I called is booked up until December to see if she can give me a general basis on what's happening and what I should be doing. Now, while I do have a family history of PCOS and it is suspected I have it, this is the first time it's EVER been this painful, especially since ive been on birth control for about 4 years now. I've never had this happen before and I'm scared that the birth control is somehow losing its effect or maybe the Zoloft (which I was just put on 2 months ago) is affecting it. I just don't know what to do or how to feel right now and I feel like I'm going crazy and the stress is really taking a toll on me. Any advice, and has anyone else gone through something similar?
