I’m wide awake I am having trouble sleeping I have tried to listen to relaxing music Then I immediately felt like a bunch of panic and fear and then my anxiety went up. I’m hearing a new voice in my head and it’s saying “Don’t hurt me.” “Don’t hurt me.” Now it’s saying “Help!” It’s saying that repeatedly. What should I do?

Have you tried communicating back? The first suggestion is to try to speak back in your own head in a reassuring way. It isnt always possible from inside so if not you could attempt other methods like writing what you want out and reading it, we're currently front locked with an extremely fragile and confused child who cannot hear me at all in the headspace. My only outlet as an alter is through text, like this, as I can control just the hands which is a little strange. Text has been our only way to communicate with the kid as well as our partner, who is handling the situation fairly well so at least theres that.

Based on the context provided, it's recommended to establish a bedtime routine, avoid looking at your phone before bed, try deep breathing exercises, and use calming scents like lavender. If you're hearing voices, it might be helpful to put on loud calming sounds or music to help quiet them down. However, if these symptoms persist, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional as soon as possible.
