I recently started having trouble falling asleep, as soon as I fall asleep I get a burst of adrenaline and wake up with heart pounding and short of breath. Drs couldn't find anything wrong with my heart but put me on beta blockers for heart rate, I do not have high blood pressure. I am still having episodes all night and if I try to nap. Has anyone experienced this?
