Dealing with Toxic Family Members

Apply for housing & mental health support with the agencies that exist for that purpose, there are many. If you try to do research and cannot find anything, start looking up vocational rehab sources because they are the localized agencies who help disabled people find disability-accommodating jobs, and are almost always affiliated with the local rehab. Or just go to a rehab and tell them what's up. They're funded just for this. Staying around toxic people and experience deniers isn't going to do you any good at all, and is only going to make it harder to get yourself into a healthy place of healing the longer you allow yourself to rely on them for dependence. Real talk, truth hurts.

I would say to try and make sure they know that you are independent and your own person! it might be wise to work/save up money to go elsewhere, but if that is unavalable/until then, make sure they know that you are not someone they can mold into who they want you to be. you are you, and that is wonderful. and they should appreciate that :]
