It’s so hard to live in a house that claim they’re one thing but they’re not. They’re claiming they’re trying to help me get better but they put in effort for 2 days and then stopped. They only ever point out the bad things. They give me “tough love”. But I’ve never gotten positive reinforcement. Or just blatant unconditional love. It’s so frustrating. They expect me to be “fixed” and I’m not and they get mad at me for it. They point it out and are so mean. And I can’t ever confront them about it. I’m stuck in an endless cycle and it’s killing me. This cycle is what got me to my lowest point. And it’s starting to go back down again. And I don’t know what to do. Any advice,,?

Genuinely the only way to heal and get better is for the environment that caused the issues to no longer be part of your life. You can't get better if the reason you're struggling is still a problem, it's like trying to administer antivenom with the snake still biting you. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to leave but something needs to permanently change for your health to permanently change, and if you can't confront them about it and convince them to change leaving at least as much as you can and setting strict boundaries may be the easiest/best thing for your health and relationships with the people in your household.

Is there anywhere else you could go? Could you sit down to have an honest conversation with them and tell them that they make your depression worse? Sometimes someone needs some brutal honesty, but a lot of people can't handle it. I hope your environment can change so you can have a fair chance to heal.

They sound toxic to be real but hey have you tried taking walks? It can help basically after all the toxicity they throw at you and the negativity you can try to take a walk a long walk to feel eased. Get some fresh air if this helps. If you consist of any hobbies as well possibly doing something you love as a distraction? If these don't work and if they truly can't be confronted I think you should try getting therapy Because talking about this to somebody can help unbottle all the negativity. Even talking to friends can help to unbottling your emotions on how you feel. You deserve so much better I hope some of this helps.
