Salt before bed, let it kick in with water, and drink water as you wake up throughout the night. Positions can matter greatly. If you need better breathing and want to slow heart rate try sleeping on your left side to compress blood flowing out of heart/lungs but let plenty go in. Also if you have issues with too little blood in limbs causing nerve pain you might also need to consider the position you sleep in. As we are in winter I keep my room ice cold with fans and sleep with a literal heater that is my boyfriend. Somehow it balances out but without him its salt or heating pads near the feet. If you have animals and they sleep with you try to get them to do compression and double as heat source. The cold room also helps me get up in the morning since my POTS is less harsh compared to the heat.
