Texting Besties: Am I Doing It Wrong?

My bestie and I will go weeks without texting each other, then pick up a conversation like we just talked yesterday. We like hanging out, but can go months without seeing each other without drifting apart. Sometimes she’ll send me a text and I won’t respond because I’m not feeling it, and there’s no hard feelings. Having a bestie isn’t necessarily about texting all the time and trying to see each other as often as possible, it’s about having someone who understands you, and who you can trust to be there for you no matter what. If you’re both extroverted and want to text and hang out all the time, that’s great of course, but if that’s not what’s happening it doesn’t mean you’re any less close~
