Struggling to Make Friends

i,, have no friends. it's not that i'm not a likable person, though thats easy for me to say, but i literally have only one friend. it works because we barely talk but every few weeks we get together and hang out for the whole day and there's never any awkward silences or anything. i have had people who want to be friends with me but dont understand the way that my friendship works..? i guess. i am essentially a recluse, i dont like texting or talking on the phone and i wont call up to make plans, the other person would have to be the one to reach out. even my best friend of ten years, ask her and shes gonna say that i never approach with hangout ideas. i dont know why i do it and i want friends, i want to go out and have fun and be close to people. but maintaining relationships is hard.
