how do you talk about your problems to others? you can't really bring it up naturally in conversation. it would be weird to randomly tell your friends "i've been feeling really sad lately". you're always told to talk to people when you're sad though. i just feel like my feeling bad makes others feel bad. my best friend cut me off 5yrs ago because i talked about my problems too much and now i can't talk about them at all. i'm afraid i'll just ruin the good mood, everyone's mental health, and i'll get left again

I kinda just ask if my friends are available and kinda put out what all is gonna be there so they don't get themselves into something they didn't sign up for. I'm also blessed with amazing friends that know I'm still learning how not to over share so that's kinda nice. But yeah, just make sure you know you're friends should be there to support you and to make sure they know what they're getting into

I always ask if my friends have the emotion space to let me rant/complain/process/whatever I need so that they can set the boundary if they can’t take in my problems at that moment. That communication has been really good for me!
