How do you ask for help? I have been suicidal since middle school and it's getting worse again. I've been thinking about doing something about it for a while and vaguely planning another try for a while, probably set for a few months. I sometimes think that I shouldn't but the majority of the time I am too tired and in pain to argue against it. I don't know how to talk to anyone outside of my anonymous account about it though. I don't think I'll ever be able to talk about anything important. I talked to a crisis line a few weeks ago but ended up lying to the operator about feeling better because they seemed nice. I left a note for my parents telling them that I had made an attempt a few months ago and nothing ever happened with it. They were nice for a few weeks and then angry about me losing my job and telling them that misgendering me makes me feel worse. I don't think I can do it again. I can't bother my friends either because they're 5 hours away and busy. I think it might be joever.

I highly recommend reading a book called "Feeling Good" By Dr. David Burns. There is a section in there that addresses these issues. I remember reading in that book that "suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems." My hope for you is that you find peace and a measure of happiness through self-care and self-love. Everyday we are alive is a chance to live, to explore, to do good, to love, to experience nature. It's ok to just enjoy today and then repeat everyday! Also having a strong support group, any supportive friends, family, or even an animal can help. Therapy, exercise (that u enjoy), healthy nutrition, and drinking water can all help. Utilizing all of your resources can be of benefit. May you be well my friend 🙏 đŸ«‚

Keep people near you who make you feel supported and try to separate from people who make you feel worse. It can be really challenging when you are dependent on someone who is bad for you, such as a parent who doesn't understand your needs. My advice is to try to connect with people who have similar experiences. Like if your town has a UAY or other group you can share experiences with. You may feel alone in your own home, but there are many people out there who would support you if you met.

I hope you’re okay. If I’m being honest, opening up is something that I struggle with every day of my life- specifically about suicidal tendencies. I think that eventually I realized that I wasn’t going to, even though I was thinking about it nonstop and I decided to ask my therapist about my thoughts and why I was having them. I opened up because I felt like a coward who couldn’t do it. But I wouldn’t say that is the case for everyone, you should get help for yourself. Because no person deserves to be in pain forever. Cut off people who don’t support you and live the life you want to lead with those you want to lead it with. Nobody can do this all at once and healing takes time, so take small steps forward. Those things helped me greatly. I hope I could help you.
