It's really difficult when the people you love and respect appear to think you're incapable. My parents were the type to "always pick the thing you know you can do", which isn't a very good way to grow and means they hold a lot of fear when I try things. But that fear isn't a reflection of them thinking I'll fail, it's them worried about what would happen if I did. The biggest one was when I came out as trans they didn't initially support me because they were scared I would regret it, but 2 years later they helped me pay for top surgery because they saw I'm happier. If you know that what you're doing is right for you, then just keep trucking, and the people who care about you will come around. As for struggling with everything, that's kinda how life is unfortunately, but my advice is to do whatever you can today to make tomorrow even a little bit easier.
