I think I might have quiet BPD. I meet all the criteria for diagnosis, literally every single one. but I don't know how to go about getting diagnosed bc every time I try to talk to my mom about something involving a mental health diagnosis she says I'm making it up I don't have that my case isn't that serious and all that jazz. and I have a therapist but I don't think I've gone into full depth of what's going on in my head and that's why she doesn't know this. should I ask her about it or just leave it alone? I can't tell if maybe my mom is right or if I should bring it up...

if you have symptoms and it’s impacting your life then i would bring it up to your therapist. she should be able to help you talk about it and see if you fit diagnostic criteria. and even if nothing were to come of it, atleast you brought it up and asked instead of just questioning. i wish you luck ♥︎
